The Listening Project is a collaboration between BBC Radio and The British Library centred on capturing the nation in conversation. Two people who know each other are invited to sit down and record a conversation about something important to them. The unedited conversation then goes to the British Library, where it will be available on their LP sound archive site and a short extract is edited for possible BBC Radio transmission.
